Story House Early Learning (SHEL) partnered with Getmee AI to build a scalable model for talent attraction, candidate engagement, and staff development — resulting in measurable improvements across recruitment, retention, and employee progression.
SHEL worked with Getmee to develop two custom applications: StoryUp and StoryGrow. The StoryUp app is offered free to every job applicant — including those who are not hired — providing personalised, AI-powered interview coaching, communication feedback, and human-led guidance. This people-first approach has elevated SHEL’s employer brand as purpose-led and inclusive, contributing directly to industry recognition.
The StoryGrow app continues to develop current employees through AI-supported communication training, soft skills development, and leadership workshops. It is particularly valuable for staff members with English as a second language, providing on-demand, personalised coaching that builds confidence and capability.
“We believe in creating opportunities for everyone, and Getmee’s commitment to empowering every candidate to be the best version of themselves aligns seamlessly with our values. This collaboration is a significant step towards building a more inclusive and dynamic early education workforce.”
— Kelly Murphy, Talent Acquisition Manager, Story House Early Learning
Story House has demonstrated that AI does not replace the recruiter — instead, it provides actionable insights, real-time data, and measurable performance metrics that make hiring and development easier, faster, and more impactful.
